THE CORNERSTONE TEAM

Ted Drabik      Owner

Even as a youngster delivering newspapers and cutting grass, Ted had a good head for business. His father's furniture restoration hobby piqued Ted's interest in developing a viable antiques business. After earning a business degree from James Madison University, in Harrisonburg, VA, he was ready to get started. In 1986, he opened Cornerstone Antiques which evolved into Cornerstone: Antiques - Consignments - New Home Furnishings.

Ted's keen business sense, commitment to providing quality merchandise, and dedication to customer satisfaction have made Cornerstone the area's premier home furnishings store. He now lives near York, Pennsylvania with his wife, Mary, and their four daughters.

Dennis Kendall      Store Manager

Dennis, a lifelong Maryland resident with over 28 years in the antique business, manages the day-to-day operations and oversees all furniture consignments at Cornerstone. Many people remember Dennis as the owner of Kendall Antiques in Jacksonville, Maryland. He is also a master refinisher with commercial and residential credits throughout the state. Cornerstone customers now benefit from Dennis' experience, good nature, and commitment to getting things done right the first time.

Beth Plein       Consignment Manager

A second generation antiques dealer in the business for 25 years, Beth brings a wealth of experience to Cornerstone where she manages consignments of silver, glass, china, porcelain and so much more. With her love of research and years of buying and selling "smalls" and furniture, she has developed a broad and comprehensive knowledge base. Beth's insight makes her a valuable resource for Cornerstone consignors and shoppers alike.

Delivery Team

Cornerstone's trained delivery team knows how to protect and transport your furniture. Just another way that Cornerstone separates itself from other Baltimore consignment shops.

Hannah Plein

Hannah is practically a fixture at Cornerstone where she has been a part of the team for over a decade. A wealth of wisdom and witticism, her journey with antiques began in 1946 when she married a "collector of everything!"  With a charm all her own, Hannah is loved by customers and co-workers alike.

Cornerstone Furniture Prep Team

It takes many hands to bring beautiful antiques and previously owned furniture to our showroom floor. The skilled hands of our talented "prep team" are essential. Fortunately, Lilly and Wally are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get those hands dirty. No other consignment store in Baltimore prepares furniture like we do.
